Prof. Elisa Molinari, director of the MaX Centre of Excellence, will be one of the keynote speakers at the High Performance Computing for Next Generation Nanomaterials & Nanodevices Engineering Workshop. She will give a take about “Materials design at the exascale”.
But MaX will be represented also by Dr. Stephan Mohr, from BSC (Barcelona Supercomputing Centre), one of the reserachers involved in the MaX project. He will be one of the invited speakers at the workshop with a talk titled “The importance of High Performance Computing to accelerate Material Discovery”.
The workshop will be held at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) on 30 – 31 May 2018. Its aim is to demonstrate the relevance of high performance computing (HPC) to forefront research in nanomaterials, molecular electronics and nanodevices to potential users of the HPC resources of the Spanish Supercomputing Network (RES).
