MaX Centre of Excellence is taking part in the ESOF 2020's virtual OPEN session on "Super-computing and the science and technology of the future" on 5 September 2020 at 10:30 to 11:45 CEST.

MaX Webinar on CP2K code

On 24 June 2020 at 11 AM CEST, the fourth webinar of a series presenting the most recent developments of the MAX flagship codes entitled "HPC libraries for CP2K and other electronic structure codes" will be held featuring the CP2K code.

AiiDA Virtual Tutorial

MaX and the AiiDA team are pleased to announce the detailed program of the AiiDA tutorial week: VIRTUAL EDITION!

Due to the ongoing safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the introductory tutorial to AiiDA from the 7th to the 10th of July 2020, originally planned to take place in Vilnius, will now be organised in a virtual format.

CANCELED - Materials design at the eXascale: success cases using HPC and HTC

The EHPCSW is CANCELED - and hence also the MaX workshop - given the current situation.

The EuroHPC Summit Week (EHPCSW) 2020 will gather the main European HPC stakeholders from technology suppliers and HPC infrastructures to scientific and industrial HPC users in Europe. The 2020 edition will take place from 23-27 March in Porto, Portugal.

MaX Hackathon: Domain Specific Libraries for Materials Modelling

MaX CoE organized a Hackathon which will be held in Trieste @ICTP from November 25th to November 29th 2019.

During the Hackathon, the coders will work at selected projects aimed at re-using in their code the MaX libraries.
 
Planned activities will be organized in three main working groups:

1ST TUMIEE TRAINING SCHOOL IN RETHYMNO, CRETE (GREECE)

The 1st TUMIEE Training School will take place in Rethymno, Crete (Greece) from the 23rd September to the 4th October 2019.
