One day Blender Course @ Modena (IT)

A one day Blender course is being held today, 27 June 2019, in Modena (IT).

This event is organised by CNR Nano and the MaX European Centre of Excellence. The course on Blender aims to improve the quality of our scientific communication and will provide hands-on knowledge of producing great images and animations from 3D (scientific) data.

MaX – WP1 Meeting @CINECA

MaX will hold its first WP1 Meeting at CINECA (Bologna, IT) on 10-12 July 2019. This event will be coordinated by Fabio Affinito (CINECA) which will gather MaX consortium members from WP1 to WP5.

PRACE Autumn school 2019 – Big data and HPC in Ljubljana

PRACE will organize an Autumn School on "Big data and HPC" from September 17 to September 20, 2019, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The focus of this three-day training course will be classical Big data topics (using Hadoop and Rhadoop for big data management and analysis) and very recent container technologies.

Picking flowers: Hands-on FLEUR

From September 9 to 13, 2019 the Forschungszentrum Jülich (DE) will host a tutorial on FLEUR code.

VASP and AiiDA workshop

Oslo, September 23–27 2019.

The workshop is arranged by UNINETT Sigma2 and the Norwegian Research Council. The content will be tutorials on VASP, AiiDA and AiiDA-VASP given by the respective developers and users.

PASC19: deadline for paper submission is approaching!!!

PASC19 is the sixth edition of the PASC Conference series, an international platform for the exchange of competences in scientific computing and computational science, with a strong focus on methods, tools, algorithms, application challenges, and novel techniques and usage of high-performance computing.

PASC19 will be held from June 12 to 14, 2019 at ETH Zurich, located in Zurich, Switzerland.
